Smith, S.D.; Brown, W.A.; Smith, C.D.; Richmond, M.E.
The habitat vulnerability assessment in this analysis is based on residential expansion. The authors developed a census-based model to locate/predict where residential development was likely to affect vulnerable habitats. Areas of threatened/endangered animal species are identified by an overlap quartile mapping of species richness and potential new housing.
