<description>30 year trends in water quality of rivers and streams in New York State based on macroinvertebrate data, 1972-2002.
Bode, R.W.; Novak, M.A.; Abele, L.E.; Heitzman, D.L.; Smith, A.J.
Water quality assessments were made based on benthic macroinvertebrate samples taken over 30 years; 32 sites along 7 streams within the upper Schoharie Creek Watershed are included in this report.

Article 7 in a series of 10, the authors of this study use cluster analysis to classify rare and common macroinvertebrate taxa from annual samples taken at 60 sites over a three-year period within the New York City Water Supply System.

<description>Macroinvertebrate distribution in relation to land use and water chemistry in New York City drinking-water-supply watersheds.
Kratzer, E.B.; Jackson, J.K.; Arscott, D.B.; Aufdenkampe, A.K.; Dow, C.L.; Kaplan, L.A.
Article 6 in a series of 10, this study summarizes annual sampling of macroinvertebrates at three different spatial scales (watershed, riparian, reach) over a three-year period for 60 sites within the West- and East-of-Hudson watersheds of the NYC drinking water supply area. Six sites within the Schoharie Creek watershed were included in this analysis. Water chemistry, geology and land use variables were correlated with macroinvertebrate numbers to help determine variability in communities.

<title>Schoharie Creek Biological Assessment.</title>

<description>Schoharie Creek Biological Assessment.
Bode, R.W.; Novak, M.A.; Abele, L.E.
Five sites were sampled on the Schoharie Creek near Hunter in June of 1995 to determine if any biological impacts were apparent, particularly in relation to winter water withdrawals/diversions from the Hunter Mountain Ski Area. Impacts were assessed through (no) changes in macroinvertebrate communities. A complete listing of sampled species is provided.
