Effectiveness of stream restoration in reducing stream bank erosion: the case of Batavia Kill stream restoration projects, New York

Abstract

In this study pre-project and post-project monitoring data were used to evaluate and model for determining effectiveness of reducing stream bank erosion. Multivariate regression techniques are used to deduce explanatory variables and quantify how much stream restoration projects reduce erosion rates.
