Summary:
Fish assemblages and habitat criteria were assessed before and after installation of stream restoration structures at locations along the Batavia Kill, East Kill, West Kill, Broadstreet Hollow Brook and Stony Clove Creek. Results from this study demonstrate that although several habitat features did not improve at two sites, overall health and sustainability of fish communities can benefit from natural channel design restoration.
