Assessing New York City's watershed protection program: the 1997 filtration avoidance determination mid-course review for the Catskill/Delaware water supply watershed

Abstract

This report is an evaluation of New York City’s progress after the implementation of the filtration avoidance determination in 1997. It includes a summary of thing the City has accomplished and a list of things which need remediation. It also discusses the individual sub-programs which make up the watershed protection program.
