dc.description.abstract This study looks at the hunter ‘legal take’ and trap-tagged-released black bears in the Catskill regions between 1970 and 1973 to help develop a policy for future management. The authors identified two distinct populations in the Catskill region and determine some tentative conclusions about their size and geographic extent. en_US
