Summary:
Article 3 in a series of 10, this study summarizes inorganic chemistry sampling under baseflow conditions at three different spatial scales (watershed, riparian, reach) over a three-year period for 60 sites within the watersheds of the NYC drinking water supply system. Six sites within the Schoharie Creek watershed are included in this analysis. The primary goal was to relate instream measures of inorganic water quality to type, extent, and proximity of land use/land cover.
