Article 8 in a series of 10, this report summarizes results of measured rates at which nutrients were used and cycled in ten streams within the watersheds of the NYC drinking water supply system. One site within the Schoharie Creek watershed is included in this study. According to the authors this analysis may provide a sensitive measure of human impact on an ecosystem.
